This exemplar childrens hospital project entitled Starship X-Ray won the Best Collaborative Arts Project in the patient experience category and a special award over all catagories, the Patient Choice award. This is a true exemplar of how the arts and good design can impact on the hospital environment and on patient care. The two national awards are a testament to the quality of the project and recognise the immense imagination, determination and sensitivity of the artists and a real spirit of participation and belief in the project from the staff and patients. These awards are a credit to all those involved.
